The United States just celebrated its 244th birthday. We celebrated along the shores of Lake Tahoe. One of our favorite places to be! But don't put those sparklers away just yet. Paris, France is having a birthday too! Today, July 8th around 250 BC Paris became an official city. That makes this lovely metropolis 2069 years old. Holy moley!
This old city is slowly starting to open up from the COVID pandemic. Even the Louvre has opened its doors to EU residents! So exciting! Did you know that U.S tourists make up the bulk of visitors to this shimmery parisian town? It's also the third most visited city in the world! Mon dieu! Crack open your french Champagne and toast to our buddies across the pond, perhaps dip into some french brea and french bread...oh the French!
